Visit the Glénan Archipelago
What to see in the Glénan Archipelago
During your camping holiday in the Bigouden region, don’t miss the Glénan archipelago to the south-east of Penmarch. Nicknamed the “Breton Caribbean”, this archipelago off the coast of Fouesnant is made up of seven islets surrounded by lagoons and clear waters offering sublime white sand beaches. In addition to these heavenly landscapes, the archipelago is home to an equally superb endemic flower: the Narcisse des Glénan.
These pretty white flowers are found mainly on the island of Saint Nicolas, where they are protected. Our team’s tip: take an all-day excursion with family or friends and discover this group of islands in spring, far from the crowds, when nature will be in full bloom. Book your crossing at the reception of our 4-star campsite with water park.
